How It's Created |
How it Works |
Uranium power is generated by crushing uranium ore and treating it with chemicals to separate the pure uranium from the rock its attached to. The uranium is then enriched to cause nuclear fission. This happens when the atoms are split to create energy, which comes in the form of heat and radiation. It is then used to power turbines and conduct electricity.

Uranium power works by using enriched Uranium atoms to cause fission. Once the atoms are split, energy is released in the form of heat and radiation. The heat is used to boil water into steam. The steam is then used to power turbines that generate electricity.
